Rod holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning), and an MBA from the University of WA.

 

Rod is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia, and a former member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  He was previously also an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Rod’s career has provided a broad background in construction, development, manufacturing, trading and retail fields as managing director of both private companies and joint ventures, and as a director of trustee companies both in Australia and overseas.

 

Rod has also been a Director and the Responsible Manager for an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) which was licensed to deal in financial products including issuing securities, and to provide custodial services for wholesale investors.
